PROTECT YOUR FREEDOMS

  1. Tuesday, November 7, 2013, is Election Day.  Your City and County Democracy Outreach Service is committed to protecting your freedom to vote.
  2. The polls open at 8 AM and close at 7 PM.  If you have not voted by 4 PM a member of the Democracy Outreach Escort Team will come to the address where you are registered to assist you in reaching your polling place. 
  3. You must be present when the Democracy Outreach Escort Team arrives to help.  Failure to be present will be regarded as an attempted evasion and will be prosecuted as an interference with the election.  Under Emergency Rules now in force, penalties for interfering with an election range from indeterminate detention to death; in addition a summary punishment of up to 10 lashes may be administered at the discretion of the of the Democracy Outreach Supervisor.
  4. Vote responsibly! A Democracy Outreach Monitor will help you vote correctly.  Voting other than as directed by the Democracy Outreach Monitor will be prosecuted as an interference with the election.  Refusal to vote as directed may in some circumstances constitute treason against the State of California, for which under Emergency Rules penalties range from death to aggravated death.
  5. The right to vote is prized by all free people!  Failure to prize the right to vote may in some circumstances constitute sedition, for which, under Emergency Rules, penalties are prescribed in the discretion of the State.
