Where does the time go?
Doing the same things over again.
Dishes once washed need to be washed again.
Teeth don’t stay brushed, taxes don’t stay paid,
Worries resolved must be reworried.
Each day is like that fellow with the rock.
If only I could only get completely clear,
Just for a while, what lyrics I might write,
Except for the laundry. And the mail.
Would I please read something? I’m out of bread.
The drug store called – come pick up your prescription
Again. And soon I will be out of time.
Mouse bites are shallow, made with tiny teeth,
But you can die from them.
Where Does the Time Go?
Where does the time go?
Doing the same things over again.
Dishes once washed need to be washed again.
Teeth don’t stay brushed, taxes don’t stay paid,
Worries resolved must be reworried.
Each day is like that fellow with the rock.
